About Governor’s Hill Condominium
There are few condominium buildings in Toronto that compare to Governor’s Hill for location and quality. The two mid-rise buildings with 265 units, at 3600 Yonge Street and 3800 Yonge Street, are on a beautifully landscaped three-acre ravine lot, and are managed by Del Property Management, a Tridel company,
For those who want to live in the city, but outside of the busy downtown core, Governor’s Hill is ideal. The 401 Highway is just four stop lights north. The core of the city can be accessed either by the TTC bus stop in front of the complex, or subway (two blocks north), or via car directly down Yonge Street. Yet, despite this incredible access, the property is part of the Hogg’s Hollow area, featuring leafy, quiet meandering streets that encourage afternoon or evening walks.
Just south on Yonge Street and well within walking distance, the shops of upper Lawrence Village provide a wide array of restaurants, boutiques and services. Residents also have the option of travelling a few blocks north on Yonge Street to Sheppard Avenue. Across the street is a public tennis club and the Don Valley Golf Course is less than a kilometre north: you could walk to the first tee in less than 15 minutes.
Governor’s Hill was designed as the premier condominium in this upscale address in Toronto, and many of the property’s features have never been duplicated.
Security is of critical importance to both residents and visitors. At Governor’s Hill, the gatehouse is manned 24/7, with only authorized access to the property. Underground visitor parking is ample. Similarly, trades people and guests who walk in must be cleared by the concierge in each building.
The facilities feature a totally renovated party room, amongst the largest in the city, with a capacity for 125 guests. The facility includes a finishing kitchen and dumbwaiter that simplifies catering deliveries. Just outside of this area, a terrace offers several gas barbecues as well as eating areas. In addition to this large space, which can be separated via an air-wall into two separate smaller rooms, there are five smaller meeting and boardrooms. All of these rooms are exceptionally well furnished.
Sports facilities include a large salt-water pool, with both indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and adjoining well-appointed men’s and women’s locker rooms with both steam and dry saunas. There is a racquetball court, squash court, golf swing practice area, games room which includes billiards and shuffle board. Supervised Fitness classes included with additional personalized classes at a small fee. For those less active, there are libraries and card rooms.
Governor’s Hill maintains eight guest suites, configured with twin and queen beds for residents' overnight guests.
